Russell Brewing in collaboration with Guu Cuisine have created Guu Ale, a complex and well balanced ale.
The Guu Ale is made from two wort streams to produce a rich coloured (8.1 SRM) liquid that is well hopped.
The two streams start at different original gravities and are fermented out at different temperatures, then blended prior to the conditioning process. This gives it a lively flavour profile, balanced between hop bitterness, caramel notes, malt, and slight citrus.
The final product is in the style of extra pale ale, with 35 IBU at an abv of 6.0%.
